I have been suffering from pain in my left side of my nose traveling up to my left temple, tooth pain, which I have been told is a migrain and am waiting to see a neurologist. I have been to the sleep clinic due inability to sleep because of constant jerking of bodyand legs when falling asleep. I was prescribed Lyrica which had no affect and then amotryptolyne (excuse spelling) I started developing a pins and needles sensation all over my body that also had a itchy sensation and I felt I was going to crawl out of my skin.

The Doc's tought it was a reaction to eith cymbalta and the amotryptoline I was taking. I have now stopped taking one of the meds which seemed to help but came back at different times in the day. I ahve now stopped taking the cymbalta too but I still ahve this weird sensation that is really annoying and I can only block it out of my mind by keeping very busy. As soon as I sit down and rest it comes back. I have also in the past 5 months developed a annoying jerk ing my legs or feet. When I sit cross legged my leg that is crossed over will kick out or my foot will. I have been suffering from cramping in my toes, calve and thigh at night usually on the right side. I have other symptoms too like chronic constipation and go to the GI clinic and have been told I have a extreme case of IBS. I take milk of magnesia every day to keep the bowels moving. I also have acid problems and had a scope in April and my doc found that my stomoch lining was inflamed so I take Nexium twice a day and Zantac at night.

I have bee told I have fibromyalgia 7 years a go, and even though some of my symptoms are consistant with fibro, alot of my other symptoms are not. I ahve been tested for lupus again recently which thankfully came back negative.

How do I get tested properly for MS and how do I approach my regular docotor, should I go and get a second opnion, and could this be MS? My flareups seem to be showing more symtoms hence the lupus retesting, anti depressants have not helped and all the ones I have tried ahve given me severe side affects, can anyone shed any light or advise.

I began having pins and needles sensations including an itchy, crawly feeling about 2 months ago. Ihad an MRI to rule out MS which it did. My doctor found that I was a bit vitamin D deficient and put me on vitamin D3. For the first 2 weeks all symptoms were completely gone but they have returned maybe not as strong. Most of the sensations now occur at the end of the day. I am still taking D3 figuring that I need to bring my levels up. I will see mydoctor again on oct 1st. I hope this will help a little. It is driving me crazy and hope to find an answer soon.

A list of the pain I feel or what happen during that month because if you don't
Feel well and your doc to give you the answer you need or you feel he/she is
Not doing their job get rid of him. When you are going trough a promble like this
You all need commucation and whatever you see they need to seen test result
Back to your primary doc. This is a hard road I know and my mom have
The same thing but they say this could because of stress. Also look into pain
Managerment good luck.
