hi everyone!
thanks so much for taking the time to read this.
wanted to see if others who have ms think my problems sound familiar or not
as i am so confused and just wanted to hear your input and get some advice.
well i'll try to make this as short as possible-have been having a lot of problems for about 5 years now(numbness in arms, hands, lower legs & feet, lft. side of face) severe vertigo, speech difficulties(slurring), extreame exaustion, spasticity throughout body,
blurred vision(occasionally), memory loss, drop foot, vibrating feeling in lower legs and arms. numbness also down whole spine with another crazy symptom(cold water feeling pouring down back) also get this cold water feeling down lower legs and arms too, crawing sensations down spine. feels like rt. arm doesn't even exist... like i have to think on how to move it(hard to explain)
i know some of these symptoms sound off the wall.:dizzy:

heres the surgeries i've had- cervical fusion, carpal tunnel.
i had the carpal tunnel surgery last year with no relief at all..still numb, tingling.

neuro. appt. was a disapointment, he did a nerve conduction test on lower legs and said everything was fine and sent me on my way-oh but come back in 3 months(yeah right!) thats it!
after that i went to the podiatrist because of my lower leg and feet numbness since neuro. seemed to think there wasn't anything wrong. well he came in and said you have footdrop and have i been checked for ms. i told him about neuro. appt. and he said he wanted to call family dr. to to discuss this further. in his opinion ms or neuropathy. my family dr. ordered brain mri(it was fine) now wants to have spinal done. if ms wouldn't it had showed up on mri?
any opinions would be so much appreciated. each day is such a struggle for me and i'm so grateful for anyone reading this to give some advice. if this spinal tap comes back negative i'm at my wits end and am afraid my family dr. will give up...seems like specialtist don't take time for patients. i'm getting weaker everyday in my arms and legs and losing more feeling throughout body. also family dr. checked for( lupus,lymes,ect....) thanks so very much for reading this and please give me some advice on next step.
