Numbness in MS can last a few minutes, days or weeks. Numbness is known as Paraesthesia or sensory symptom.

Unfortunately, MS numbness cannot be walked off or shaken out.

If you were able to walk off the numbness it could be you were sitting a certain way that affected a nerve - most common are those times our hands/arms or legs/feet "fall asleep" and we are able to walk it back to normal feeling or shake out our arms/hands. This happens to everyone at one time or another.

As far as your leg aching: it's up to you if you want to continue using a treadmill. There is simply no way of knowing if it's good or bad for you until you speak to a doctor.
