Thanks for your suggestion. In my case, however, B12 was one of the first things my doctors checked. I know that B12 deficiency is one of the many MS mimics, but not the problem in my case.

Thank you for sharing. I do agree that the "normal" ranges are different from country to country. I am in Italy where the acceptable range is higher as well and I still came out in the upper end of normal. I'm not a blind follower of anything my doctors tell me and am currently med-free. I also know quite a bit about alternative medicine.

While it's helpful to consider all of the aspects, in some cases not accepting the truth in our diagnosis can be more detrimental to our health than just accepting and getting on with our lives.

Another thing I've learned about MS is that there are so many mimics to consider and every case is so different that it's impossible to say that there is a single differential dx that is likely to be the culprit in all cases. B12 deficiencies can present like MS as well as Lyme disease and AIDS and a bunch of other illnesses as well.

Since we've never met, I'd have to remind you that no one who's never met me knows me better than I do myself. I thank you for sharing the information that you feel so strongly to share, but would like to point out that I don't fit into the box you seem to have put me in and neither do many others here.

I am glad to hear, however, that you've found something that works well for you. It's what we all strive for and hope to accomplish even if the solution varies greatly from person to person.

By the way... in future posts, it would be a great help to those of us with eye issues if you would break your post out into pieces as I have here. Helps to keep tabs on where we are when reading with double and/or blurry vision.

Thank you and best wishes....
