... Please get a second opinion. First of all, you havent had an MRI since 05? Thats crazy! MRIs can change in a matter of hours, and definately days. Years is too long to rule anything out. ... Unfortunately NikNC, there are no other go too drugs for inflammation besides steroids. There are different types of steroids- achtar Gel, Prendisone, Solumedrol- but they are all derivities of prendisone and if they arent helping yet....they probably wont. My Mother is the same way, if you can't find it in a medical book, she gets it. Guess I inherited THAT gene. I also can not find anything about allergic reactions past hives, on solumedrol.
