... MSJayHawk, May I ask why you had to go on disability? That is my biggest concern, that I will lose the ability to get around. I am normally such an active person, that it will be a "big" adjustment to not being to do that and keep up with my career, husband and daughter. My husband has been a rock through all of this and I don't think I could make it through it without... (23 replies)
... The results results of my C-spine MRI came back. I had no lesions, only a few bulging discs. I also had the neuropathy test (in my legs) (this is one seriously un-fun test) and the results were normal. So at this point I am pretty stuck. I have a long list of symptoms (some debilitating, others a nuisance), a 10+ year history, and no end in sight. I am only 25, I have been... (10 replies)
... There is a flat panel radiant heater which was developed just for use beneath a desk. I have also seen a heated foot rest. We used the radiant flat panel heaters for the ladies in our Tokyo office since they wore skirts for their office uniform. They had 100% positive feedback. (There were even some jealous male co-workers!) (5 replies)
... Bayou Igloos would be a cute yard decoration. I really believe the low temps were my issue. Normally when it's cold I layer my clothes & socks because my legs cramp & hurt really bad. It doesn't help that my office is by a door that is frequently used. I'll have to invest in a small heater to put under my desk. (5 replies)
... No worries. With the 30's in LA would one expect to see some bayou igloos?? :D :D Let us know if that was your problem. Until I discovered my low temperature limit, I had the problem often. During cold spells I may wear gloves and sock cap indoors and outdoors. During the colder months I sometimes need to double layer my socks, but my feet are not as bothered as my hands... (5 replies)

... I too was a tough to diagnose case, and told the same thing, my lesions had not moved. However, several MS specialists told me that all you need are 2 things, like lesions and an episode, or more than one episode. I went on meds at his advise, and went off them 4 years later, symptom free, thinking I did not have ms, 6 years later, its back with a vengeance! I am now back... (7 replies)
