I get mine done at my neuros office, due to them being set up with the TOUCH program,, I do not have a co-pay,, I started with blue cross blue shield, and hubbys company where he works switched to health assurance PPO, and neither one had a co-pay for the Tysabri. ... Just got off the phone with my Touch case manager and he is seeing if there is another location that can do the infusion. He also was shocked by the price tag- and this was for services rendered not the actual drug. The Tysabri itself was just under $2000 which I knew. I will keep posting as things develope..... ... o my doctor about tysabri. he was all for it but said it's not anymore effective than copaxone. He said the numbers were better with combo therapy but the risk of PML was increased. He said considering the cost and how effective it was.. copaxone or avonex is just as good. But he said it was my choice. ... (89 replies)
