... Visit the Social Security Administration's web site. When I applied for disability, I downloaded their checklist for what was needed for disability. I remember that the visual evoked potential was one test result that was required. Also, as you have other problems besides MS, I would think that this would qualify you. ... Hi these days, almost all insurance companies deny MRIs until they have enough support to substantiate why they should pay for it. Its an easy procedure for your doctor to appeal it, send in your history and physical and explain why it needs to be done. 99% of the time, thats all it takes, and your primary will get authorization.
