... You can check online regarding the Revised McDonald Criteria. There are various tests used to eliminate disease possibilities. Your MRI should minimally be of your head and cervical spine and with and without contrast. The contrast "lights up" any active lesions. ... (6 replies)

... I would wait for the neurologist to request it. If you have ongoing symptoms and the active lesions in your brain are responsible for those symptoms, then an MRI with contrast would "light up" those lesions.
