... Very sorry to hear about your experience. Mark, I have both the electric and pneumatic versions of the upeasy, although I found it a bit too bulky and heavy to be easily portable. The electric one worked better for me but, of course, that really only makes it useful if it is "set up" rather permanently on a particular chair. I found this moderately helpful, but still... I do have a scooter but I can walk most of the time(with crutch help) so then I feel like a hipocrite and people don't understand how you can stand and walk but can't sit and get up. ... You know, I forgot all about the leg rest issue I had when I first got my chair. They are hard to get use to. In the beginning, my calves were totally black and blue from hitting against them. My beautiful mother-in-law and her friend are sewaholics and created these foam pieces with interchangable covers for the seasons (I had Halloween fabric, Christmas, Valentine's etc) and...
