... If it were a splinter hemorage, then it would be growing forward with the nail plate and the line would not continue to grow from under the cuticle. ... It sounds like it is just one of the rails on the nail bed showing through the nail plate. If one of the rails enlarges, it appears as a pinkish line from the cuticle to the free edge. Try using a good quality nail and cuticle oil to keep the nail plate hydrated. ... (1 replies)
