Nailbed problem

... About 3 weeks ago used fingernail file to file down ingrown nail/cuticle & cut skin in nailbed. Now there is tissue or muscle that has come out of the finger, almost like a little tumor. It is very senstive and bleeds easily when irritated. Tried antibiotic ointment and bandaging and also tried letting it dry to see if it would fall off, it hasn't. Does anyone know what... ... This sounds like the yeast fungus (candida) toenail infection. It is highly contageous and would NOT recommend taking Lamisil because of the liver damage. You may have an internal yeast infection (females can have an internal yeast infection without showing the vaginal yeast infection).
