I had a Nerve Conduction Test and the results came back that I have Polyneuropathy.
I recently had my reflexes tested and responded to each of the hammer test showing that I had reflexes on my feet and legs.
Which test is most accurate to diagnose polyneuropathy?
I stopped taking my Gabapentin and I've had severe issues with pain since I stopped.
Thank you
I would imagine nerve conduction test would be the most accurate. Have you trie cymbaltafor the pain, also over the counter r-ala is an amino acid they use in Europe for neuropathy

Thank you.....so it's possible to have reflexes to the knee and feetbhammer test and have Polyneuropathy? I just don't get how my conduction nerve test which one doctor concluded that I have PN be less accurate than a knee/foot mallet/hammer leg and foot reflex test.
So I was told to stop taking my Gabapentin because my reflexes were normal, but my pain has gotten worse since ibstopped the Gabapentin.
