Frustrated
Aug 7, 2017
Two years ago I got "diagnosed" with carpal tunnel syndrome. Based on the fact I had median nerve neuropathy in both hands. No other symptoms. The pain went away. But I always struggled with lower and upper back pains. Now, the same nerve pain returned but now it has spread to my legs. Neither is going away. I also get some numbness by one of my feet.
I'm suffering with tension in my head, sometimes tingling. Always feel light headed and am struggling through my work days.
My doctors aren't taking me seriously. I was referred to a rheumatologist since my ANA came back positive but since my ENA was negative, he gave me an appointment 6 months away to check up. I can't deal with this lack of focus and difficulty concentrating or carrying conversations for all that time.
I have an appointment to see a neurologist in two days and I am hoping he takes me more seriously. I had to beg the rheumatologist to get an MRI and he didn't think it was necessary. Has anyone else had these symptoms?
I am struggling emotionally not knowing what I am dealing with and my heart reaches out for all those who have been dealing with symptoms without relief for years.
