Neuropathy Message Board

| I have not been diagnosed with Neuropathy but over the past 8 years I've had a continuous tingling sensation that has progressed from a pin point area on my left cheek bone to the left side of my face, left arm and left leg. I've had xrays and MRIs a few years apart and they are all negative. I was sent to a neurolgist who found nothing (although I thought he was an idiot).
After a few years of doctor appointments and no results I figured I had to deal with it. I've had bad days and good days, seems to flare up worse after I lift anything heavy or if I have to grip something for a while like using a hammer. Also had to stop lifting weights.
The latest thing happened while out for a walk. I felt a pressure build up in my left forearm and hand then a sudden huge pulse, (not sure if thats the right term) very painful and lasted for a second. Now I feel a constant pressure in that area, when I hang my hand down the pressure builds and I have to hold my arm up to my chest for relief. Has this happed to anyone here? Maybe someone can steer me in the right direction.
I'm a 39 year old male, I had and passed a recent heart stress test. Other than fighting a stomach ulcer at the moment, I'm in pretty good health. Thanks for reading. |
