Is life over at 36??

hello everyone
i just had surgery 4 weeks ago.i had/have/burning pain in my neck for the past 7 months now..i had carpel tunnel release and ulnar nerve release done..well my neck is still burning!!!!!!!!! i have had a nerve test done but only on the right side{surgery side} ..it showed severe nerve dam,age from the elbow down ..nothing in the neck.i have to wait to have tests done on the left side..i thought after the surg all this would end ..esp on the right but i t is still there..i have had mri eeg ekg nerve test{nothing but carpel tunnel and nerve dam in elbow/hand area}..what else can i do to find out where this coming from?thanks for any replies in advance..i am at my wits end here..i am taking elavil 4 times a day muscle relaxers...basically i have put on 40 lbs because i cant do much but sit in the recli9ner..i used to run around all the time busy doing something..worked 35 hours a week..i am only 36 and feel like life is over..sorry about bad typing i still have a cast on from surgery!!
