I'm new here. I have neuropathy from my fingers up to my elbows. I also have Raynauds syndrome which really set my hands on fire until it was diagnosed and treated. I pretty much have been misdiagnosed wih 'chronic tendinitis' since 2005 after I injured my wrists while typing (felt like a sledge hammer wacked the underside of my wrists). Bizarre pain has gone up and down since then. I had a horrible flareup last July bad enough to put me on morphine. This year I went to a pain clinic and they set me up on Lyrica (I've been on neurontin before and it made me stupid and exausted), Cymbalta and a calcium channel blocker to open up my veins so that the blood can get to my hands. So my real Dx is small nerve fiber damage with Raynaud's. The new meds helped me so much I've been able to get off the morphine. I also spend at least an hour almost every day in my local healthclub pool aquacizing--it makes a big difference in pain management and getting some function back in my hands, wrists and forearms. Anyhow, is there anybody out there who contracted a neuropathy due to a Repetitive Strain Injury? I also wonder if you've been able to continue working?
