Re: My progress
Feb 24, 2009
Hi Nikki,

Great to hear from you both. Nikki - I'm really chuffed for you that you're beginning to see some progress. There's nothing more dispiriting than feeling nothing is happening. Hope you continue to get better and keep us all regularly updated. Anything we can try to help you with, please ask (Tanya will be better than me at explaining probably :D)

As for me, I seem to have reached something of an impasse. The physio seems to have run out of options as my foot didnt respond to stim treatment last week. It is still pushing down on occasion instead of dorsiflexing and seems quite stiff. There is a bone growing on the top of my foot too which is apparently restricting movement. She told me why it was doing this (lack of movement maybe?) but I forget exactly. I haven't been tripping as much so this may be as good as it gets.

I've got one more appointment with her (mainly to treat the bursitis) and then thats it. I'm waiting on an appointment to see a different physio on the NHS, more for a second opinion than anything else, and then I see the surgeon again at the end of April. If there's any more news I'll come back with an update and make sure the pair of you do likewise. :)
