Re: Ulnar nerve transposition

I'm just 17 days post-op for ulnar nerve transposition surgery. Just had the sutures taken out today. I also had cubital tunnel surgery at the same time. So far, the only real difference is a 1 1/2 inch scar on the palm of my hand and wrist, and an 6 inch scar on my elbow, but the numbness and tingling in my fingers has changed to a burning sensation. My doctor suggests a follow up visit in 2 weeks if the burning feeling doesn't subside, or 6 weeks if it does. Just curious....does anyone know what kind of physical therapy is recommended following this kind of surgery? Thanks!
