Do your symptoms come and go?

I was just diagnosed with probable peripheral neuropathy then EMG/NCS came back normal. I am assuming I have SFN. My symptoms come and go although now they seem to be getting worse. I have been experiencing symptoms for about 4 years but just ignoring them. Still, I think I am mild. Pins and needles in feet, numbness in feet , hands and forearms, But also I can get a bug crawling sensation almost anywhere and buzzing and numbness sensations that come and go everywhere too. Is this typical? I am waiting for my blood work to come back. I am also interested in finding out if anyone has a prediabetic cause? :confused:
