Hi cocoa, Lyrica didnt help me at low dosages either & i can take 150 mg twica day if i make absolutely certain that the doses are 12 hours apart but i still sometimes, about once a week, have to take diuretic for puffy ankles & i do weigh about 10 lbs more. Topomax is given to help nervepain & neuropathy symptoms & has side effect of losing a few pounds for some people but its an antidepressant like cymbalta not anti seizure like lyrica. As far as damaging nerves walking on feet, my nerve damage is actually in my spinal cord but i feel the symptoms in my feet, does that make a difference?
