Roslex, I have burning more often in the heat as well. I'm not sure with autonomic poly SFN, if either are more prominent. I have burning all the time, but much more at night. I put anything cold I can at night on my legs and feet when it's really bad.....which is more often than not.
I found some interesting things at Sams club, kind of like a heating pad for your feet, but you can either use it as hot or cold.
They are the shape of your feet and you put them in the freezer for 20 min and then I rubberband them on to my feet. Anything to change the sensation of that terrible burning.
I think it's called body comfort.

Thanks for your messagel. I use ice packs at night on my legs and feet and it helps.
I will look into the heating pad/that is the size of your feet. Does it have a name?

Thanks again.
