... Spine bulges can swell off/on from usage. Cervical C3 to C6 will affect the mid-neck, to shoulder, dwn to finger tips. Numbness to even shrivelling of finger tips can happen & then swelling goes dwn & you're better. Good day, bad day! The C-spine doesn't affect legs or feet. Last part of Thoracic but mostly lumbar bulges can numb lower limbs. Get copy of which spine tests... (6 replies)

... Thanks Jeanne, it seems that the discs are becoming more suspect after reading some more posts. I went to the neurologists yesterday and he said he's not sure yet. I'm scheduled for the nerve test next week and a c-spine the following week to look at those discs. He also said my throid could be to blame, I don't know. But my Dr didn't get my chart to him in time for the appt... (4 replies)

... I agree. I have the same issue, I had the ulnar nerve sheath cut open to release pressure and it helped but the numbness is still there because i have issues with my c5-c6 area of my c-spine. You can get a emg test and they can pin point which nerve is being bothered (8 replies)
... I have been having leg pain (mostly near calves, back of knees) for the last 4/5 weeks. Last week started soft pin like sensation along with the same sensation around arms. This is not pain nor numbness. Just sensation like extra layer of skin or something. Since than leg pain has almost gone and pin sensation almost gone. ... Yes. I have been to the doctor. He says it's mostly because I'm overweight. I also have hypothyroidism. I have a herniated disc in my cervical spine that is protruding into the left neural foramen. That could explain some of the numbness and tingling. But the rest is baffling me. ... (7 replies)
