Until last week I was taking 900mg of Gabapentin x3 daily(which my doc had me up from 600mg and he wanted me to take 1200 x 3) so this week I'm giving the 1200mg's a try(I didn't want to get sleepy since I work) and so far so good....my drive home last night(which driving is a major pain for me)went better then normal...ie a LITTLE less... ... Hi & thanks for your reply. I too have type 2 diabetes but have managed to control by diet so far. The neurologist suspects my neuropathy is genetic however I have very little family history. Mine is mostly effected by sugar and so it has to be diabetic. Kinda like the cart before the horse. Mild diabetes & severe neuropathy. I am also very effected by the barometric pressure...
