Bone spur on wrist
Jan 3, 2004
My 18 year old daughter just noticed a sharp bony like protrusion on the side
of her wrist bone. I seems like it is barely under the skin and is about the size of a pencil lead. Does this sound familiar to any one? I think it is a
bone spur even though I've never seen one. It is sore to the touch and she
thinks her wrist might be a little swollen. My Mom had a lump on her knuckle
but it was round like a pea. Mom has had trouble with osteoporosis and arthritis so I am concerned if this might be related the any of these problems.
Hmmm, I don't know! It could be a cyst - it's probably best to get a doctor to check it out to be sure. I hope she's all right and that it stops hurting.
