Hi Everyone, Maybe someone can answer my question. As you may have seen in my previous posts i have Osteoporosis per my Neurosurgeon. I had a ACDF w/ cages 2 1/2 weeks ago. When the surgery was over, he told my familily that i hve extremely soft bones and that i have Osteoporosis. I do not know the exact severity of it as of yet seeing i have not had the bone density test. Anyway, my problem is that if i am extremely tired when i go to bed and if i sleep on my side without moving for quite sometime, my hip bones will hurt terribly or if per say i sleep "wrong" with my arm in a certain position i will wake up inexcrutiating pain and i will literally have to pick my arm up with my other one because the pain is soooo bad that i cant move it at all. It will hurt just like i broke it. It is not a muscle type of hurt, it is bone pain type of hurt. I will have to take something for pain and then very slowly work it, for the most part it will go back to feeling like normal after a couple of hours. I have never been able to find any answers as to why this happens so i wanted to know if it could possibly have something to do with the osteoporosis? Any help or input would be appreciated. Thanks, Glory
