I'm only 25 yrs old. I have Polycystic ovarian syndrome and i have low estrogen, which makes me prone to have Osteoporosis. It's like i'm having an early menopause coz i'm not menstruating.

anyways, i drink milk. About 800 mg or more per day. I drink about 1/2 gallon of water/ day.

Now, i know that calcium won't get absorbed in your bones if it you don't have Vitamin D with it. I seldom go under the sun.

and i'm wondering if its necessary to take a vitamin D supplement to help me abosrb the calcium from milk?

fawn, you might want to check your milk's nutrition facts. It's usually fortified with vitamin D and A. All the milk I've seen usually has 35% of vitamin D added to it.
