Yes, I saw your posts. I'm guessing you've been consistently on it since March 2005? I'm happy to see it's working for you. They claim you get an energy boost as well. Have you felt that? Any negative side effects? Where do you buy your Ezorb...I'm trying to find the best price. thanks
I have not found it anywhere but at the manufacturer's site. Absolutely no side effects. I haven't noticed a boost in energy but I'm not probably not the best person to ask that question as I also have a condition called CFIDS, which results in profound flares of fatigue (among other things). To date, there are very few things that address this illness.
I am very sensitive to certain products but have not experienced any side-effects with Ezorb;in fact, just ordered another batch yesterday. You might go to the Elixir site and see if you can contact them with this question. Bladdder infections can be caused by all kinds of things, then again, do you feel the doctor was certain of the diagnosis? I've been on Ezorb for awhile now and so far no complaints. Will see what my next Dexa reports.
does anybody know, will the ezorb help with the residual pain from the fosamax? i dont like taking ibuprofen all the time, but need something for the pain. and does anyone know if exercise will help or hinder the fosamax pain effect?
i am so glad i hit on this website. everybody has been a lot of help. Thanks!
Have you ever tried Homeopathic? Bryonia Alba 30C, 3 pellets 3X a day (if the pain doesn't radiate). If the pain radiates then Hypericum would work better.

I have also used Tumeric capsules - 3 capsules 3 times a day for pain.

These are more subtle ways to address pain, but maybe preferable if you don't want to continue Ibuprofen, which can have many side-effects if taken regularly.
I have been taking E-ZORB calcium after reading about it on this message board since the beginning of the summer 2005 and I just had a bone density test a few weeks ago. The last time I had a bone density test was 8/31/2004.

Results by t-score from 8/31/2004

lumbar spine - 0.8 borderline osteopenia
left femur - 2.3 osteopenia
right femur was not scanned

Results by t-score from 11/18/2005 using a different scanner

lumbar spine - 0.2 normal
left femur - 2.4 osteopenia
right femur - 1.9 osteopenia

Meaurement of left femur showed a drop in BDM (g/cm2) from 0.724 to 0.714 which dropped me from -2.3 last year to -2.4 this year, I don't know what the error rates are.

The lumbar spine has increased from 1.105 BDM to 1.178, which now gives me a normal score of -0.2, an improvement over last year's borderline osteopenia score of -0.8, so I am going to stick with the EZORB since my spine improved and I have no side effects.

I am hoping the hip will improve also. I am taking two tablets in the morning and two at night. When I called to order more, I told the rep my scores and
he was so happy that my spine improved, and he told me most of
their customers see an improvement. He suggested that I take three in the morning and three at night, said it would not hurt. Maybe a higher dose
will help my hip along.

I also started going to the gym to work on the equipment, I really like going,
I didn't think I would. I lost five pounds already, and I've only been going for two weeks. I'm excited about that, and I hope my bone density improves with weight bearing exercise.

Any comments regarding my t-scores and/or increasing the dose of EZORB would be appreciated, I am undecided about taking six tablets a day, as the rep suggested.

Thanks!

I thought the higher the number the more bone loss on the Dexa score, so I'm a bit confused. If this is correct than your left femur score has increased slightly indicating more, not less, bone loss. I may be incorrect on the information you are presenting. I hope so. That anything has decreased is certainly something to celebrate, though! That you are also doing weight bearing exercise will further contribute to the health of your bones.

I started the first 3 months with the recommended dosage for my weight (under160 lbs) and condition (osteoporosis/osteopenia),which is 8 capsules a day split between morning and evening ( for half of that 3 month period I actually divided between AM, Noon and PM. After this period I went on the maintenance dose - 4 capsules twice a day AM and PM.

Congratulations!
