Hi All,
I just took out a few books from the library on weight bearing exercises for osteoporosis and osteopenia prevention and they look great. I'm definitely going to try them both. One is called Yoga Builds Bones and it's got tons of tips on nutrition plus exercises for specific areas you want to strengthen including the adrenals and parathyroid--interesting, since Forteo works by stimulating or simulating the parathyroid's function/secretions.
The other book looks great too. It's called Exercises for Osteoporosis and again has specific exercises for different areas.
They both look great and I've already tried a few of the poses in the yoga book and feel great.
I'm hoping that by adding specific exercises to my regime (plus trying the ezorb & vitamin D) I'll be able to at the very least prevent it from getting wose.
Peregrine. Please let us know what happens in April when you get your new DEXA results after taking EZorb. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!
