Saw My Endo Monday

Hallelujah! He said come mid-June I could have a DEXA done and "we're" gonna do it at the new imaging center in town that just opened last September w/supposedly all the latest and greatest in equipment; digital mammography, etc.

I didn't start Forteo until 19 Aug 05 so didn't expect a DEXA until August and, in fact, I had already scheduled one for 22 Aug 06. I was so excited I don't even remember what he said but something about results at 10 months ....

I'll be ecstatic if I just hold my own because I've not been able to take calcium tho I am on high doses of vitamin D. Gads! And I thought 19 Aug seemed forever away. Still once I had made the appointment for the DEXA on 22 Aug it did somehow seem to be nearer to arriving. But now - mid-June?? It seems forever away again.

I just called the imaging center and made the appointment!!!! 12 Jun 06 at 10 AM!!!
