Todd, me too I agree with Phyllis that it is encouraging to know that the medical profession are agreeing with Strontium. I went to Osteop specialist the other day and he said the same.... continue with strontium tho there are no proven studies on citrate only ranalate which is not available to us.... I have been taking mine away from food. I contacted my manufacturing co here in canada and they told me they will be updating label to say take 2 capsules at the same time daily ideally away from supplements or food high in calcium and fiber so that is what i am doing.
Wow, Todd and Canna.....you actually found doctors who are supportive on your taking strontium? Guess neither of you live in Waterloo:D!
That's interesting that strontium can be taken with food; one reason I've stopped it is because I eat a bedtime snack, which means I couldn't take it before retiring, which means every time I got up around 1AM to go to the bathroom I'd take it then...with water...then I was up again to go to the bathroom a couple of hours later. Now, if I decide to go back on it, it will be easier as long as my nightly snack isn't cereal with milk;).
