Hi Ktnap...there is no rule that says you have to take it at bedtime or with or without food. If taking it at bedtime is causing you stomach distress then take it when you get up to exercise and go light on the milk products when you have breakfast. I think the main thing is to avoid large amounts of calcium like you'd get if taking a supplement. Maybe you could try eating a little something, like a few crackers, before you take it at bedtime just to buffer the stomach problem effect. Its really all trial and error till you come up with the right method for you.

I assume you are taking 680 mg. and even if a little of that is lost it will still give you the results you're looking for. I've read that even low doses will give results, but may take longer to achieve them. One more thing...don't worry about doing everything perfect...its a combination of all we do that does the trick. take care..phyllis
