... I have been anorexic for many years and have now been diagnosed after Dexa scan has having osteoporosis. My periods stopped over ten years ago. I've now been put on the contraceptive pill to increase bone density but am still a low weight. Has anyone any experience of this? My doctor says I'm young enough to recover in about 5 years. Can anyone help? I'm 29yrs old. (6 replies)
