... Have you ever tried Homeopathic? Bryonia Alba 30C, 3 pellets 3X a day (if the pain doesn't radiate). If the pain radiates then Hypericum would work better.
I have also used Tumeric capsules - 3 capsules 3 times a day for pain.

I haven't noticed a boost in energy but I'm not probably not the best person to ask that question as I also have a condition called CFIDS, which results in profound flares of fatigue (among other things).
