... I heard about the insomnia, and weight gain, but the weight gain problem "if" it was a true side effect is a small price to pay for increased bmd. I gained weight after taking Forteo, but I absolutely can't blame it on the drug. ... (10 replies)
... that, but unfortunately I think it's much more likely that the problem is from my metabolism slowing, age, eating too much ice cream, cookies, hormonal changes, and so on... I could go on forever on things that made me gain weight, "I think" around the same time as Forteo, but I doubt the culprit is the med. ... (73 replies)
... I had switched to my thighs for about a month, but I'm sure that any weight gain I've had has not been Forteo-related, but just plain not watching what I eat related. Anyway, since it's easier to just open the top button of my pants to give the shot in the belly, I went back to that. So I'm pretty much back to using the belly exclusively. ... Well, I wasn't encountering any pouchy gut, just this layer of soft, flabby tissue across the abdominal area. I can not say w/certainty it was due to the Forteo abdominal injections - but - I haven't given myself any Forteo injections in the abdomen since this thread was started or even before (haven't gone back to the first page to check the date) - and - the flab or rolls of...
