... Hi Osteo: You're right about Reclast, it has been used for Pagets disease and also for hypercalcemia and cancer related fractures. I don't know what the optimum timing would be to start your follow up with forteo, but I know that bisphosphonates (antiresorptives) blunt the effect of forteo, so they are not recommended while you're taking forteo. ... Hi I have been on Evista with no side effects although it does not build bone. That is all I can take for the osteo (10.9% below fracture level). Stay away from Fosamax and family as everyone is right. More and more women are getting ONR and that is horrible. The IV just brings it on faster than the pill. (7 replies)

... The only places that are checked when i have a DEXA are hips and lumbar spine. I think when other posters refer to their osteo is it usually in those 2 places. Not everyone gets other parts of their bodies scanned like you did. ... (3 replies)
