| I had my cone on a Friday, at like 8:30 am. I was home by noon. I slept a lot of that day. I got up about 7pm, putted around the apartment, posted online for a little while, then went back to bed. Sunday, hubby and I went shopping (he pushed the cart). I was at work on Monday.
After my doctor did my cone (and ECC, and D&C, and uterine biopsy) she finished up with doing (basically) a LEEP to cauterize the edges that were cut from the cold knife cone. She also put in a stitch or two to close off the arteries. This GREATLY reduced my post-cone bleeding. I bled for 2 days and oozed (clear brown stuff) for about 2 weeks. I think she did a GREAT job.
You could always try working half-day on Friday. But if you have the time, go in on Monday. |
