Cancer: Cervical & Ovarian Board Index

I went through the LEEP procedure back in 2005 for moderate/severe dysplasia. Honestly, the worst part of the whole ordeal was the anesthetic making me sick afterwards. It was an outpatient procedure at the local women's hospital. There was some mild cramping afterwards for a few days, no worse than with my period, but that was the only lasting effect I had from it. All of my yearly paps have come back negative for abnormalities since that time (knock on wood). I remember my doctor saying that the likelihood of the condition returning were slim since he was confident the precancerous tissue was removed. Unfortunately, I can't help you with the pregnancy aspect as my husband and I have chosen not to have children.
