Hi, I'm new here. I'm worried sick and looking for some support. I'm 26 years old and had a high-grade abnormal pap about a year and a half ago that was missed, and I didn't find out about it until now. I had a repeat pap that also came back high-grade abnormal (that's all they told me). I had a colposcopy, and she said things didn't look 'too bad' and a biopsy. Strangely, the biopsy showed only inflammation, no sign of dysplasia. I thought this was good news, but apparently it's not, because it doesn't jive with the pap results and now I have to have a conebiopsy. I'm so scared! I have an anxiety disorder and this is too much for me to handle. Does anyone know about having a huge discrepancy between pap results and biopsy results? Help me!
