... Welcome, and don't stress out too much until you know more. While I have never had an IUD, I have been Dx as high risk and Cin111. After any of my biopsies the dr has always said to wait 2 weeks before having sex, using tampons, basically don't put anything up there for that long. Were you within that window of time? ... I'd call the doctor's office and ask for a copy of your pathology reports related to your cervical problems. They might charge for them, but maybe not. I'm not current on how the health care system works in the UK. The pathology reports will look like a lot of jibberish and may make you panic, but they use big words to give exact descriptions of the type of test used,... (3 replies)

... Hi Sophie, It may be a good thing that you didn't get to see that doctor today. You now have a good week to get some information together to ask some questions on your office visit. If you have problems further up in your canal, then that means you probably have some sort of atypical glandular cells. If that is the case, and the doctor is going to do a colposcopy,...
