... Veronica, I wouldn't freak out yet - it may just mean that the cyst may be resolving and/or collapsing, so it's difficult to tell that is was a cyst. Are you going to have a followup ultrasound ? Also, if you had a trans-vaginal ultrasound it's more accurate than an abdominal ultrasound. In the past three years I've had numerous cysts - some simple and some 'complex' -... (4 replies)
...'s hard to tell what's going on. I will tell you though that women get cysts every month as part of the reproductive process They rupture and then the fluid is reabsorbed. Generally, this process occurs and the woman is none the wiser that this has occured. Occasionally, the cyst are large and a woman can in fact feel them (i.e. abdominal pain etc). Dr's will...
