Considering your age, and your test results (the LEEP which identified the AIS, a colpo and a clean ECC), they it might be safe to say that the original doc got all of the lesions. An ECC isn't perfect, just as a pap isn't, but I'd say an ECC is more likely to be accurate than a... (9 replies)

My daughter also had severe dysplasia, along with unclear margins and glandular involvment...One month after her leep procedure in December 06, she went to a gyn/oncologist who insisted she begin the vaccine immediately. Diagnosed AIS in April- Had cold knife cone biopsy on 4-17-08 with ECC and Endometrial Biopsy also, CKC margins were involved ...everything else was clear but still AIS. ... I should preference this by saying I am no expert so I'm only sharing my opinions based on my abnormal PAP. I won't comment on the uterus and ovary portion because I simply don't have experience there. The PAP result was ASCUS (atypical squamous cells of undetermined significance). ASCUS is the mildest form of abnormality. The levels are Normal, ASCUS, Low grade... (4 replies)
... your PAP comes back abnormal something Not Good is going on. When you colpo comes back unsatisfactory, it's not yet bad, but it can be. The last word belongs to LEEP if negative, your cells are not cancerous. ... (14 replies)
