... I waited 4 months before having sex and I did bleed a tiny bit afterwards - no uncomfortable pain, just a small amount of blood. You really should wait the standard 6 weeks before inserting ANYTHING into the vagina. If you don't, you risk an infection which could lead to slower healing. What did your dr tell you? (8 replies)

My advice to you is to exercise to help keep the immune system strong, take a multi-vitamin along with 400mg of folic acid.
