... I first had a shot of Ativan in the ER and it helped a great deal. They sent me home with some pills and they didn't seem to have the same effect. To be honest, benedryl has the same effect on me as the ativan. ... (4 replies)

... best thing IMO for panic attacks. I'm glad it's working out for you. I take it as needed, sometimes everyday, sometimes not for a week or two. I too have tried ativan and it made me way to groggy. Xanax does a bit, but nothing like ativan. Don't forget to take your xanax before flying!!!!! ... (6 replies)

... nic attack while on my medication. Mine usually happens at night when I'm feeling all looney toon. It's enough I wake up not knowing where I am because it's dark and I can't see, then to top it off feel this crawling all over my skin and feel like I'm going to die.
