... stress and anxiety often effects the throat, making swallowing difficult and giving the feeling that something is stuck in the throat when nothing is chew the food slowly and dont concentrate on swallowing, just do it some valium or similar helps a while by relaxing the throat muscles this fear of choking is very common (3 replies)
