... I was prescribed xanax, again, similar to lorezepam. 4 times a day at .5mg. I'm not sure how long I'll be on it, but as long as my breathing issues cause me to panic, I guess, however long that may be... could be months, years, etc...? I am not worried about withdrawals. I have faith that my psych will wean me off in such a way that it won't be too horrible! (7 replies)

I think the zoloft is unlilely to ever work for you, this does happen quite often but many docs dont accept it, since zoloft is a prozac type med this suggests that all otherprozac type wont work either, but there are several other types to try which may work, eg effexor, mirtazepine meanwhile, lorezepam, taken sensibly, will help a lot (6 replies)
... my thinking and thought patterns and have been working hard at correcting both. I would rather rely on an occassional Lorezepam if I feel overly anxious, than be on meds daily that affect my memory, energy level and libido. ... (6 replies)

... ativan is a valium type med and usually doesnt effect the apetite, all valium type meds also relax the muscles (2 replies)

... Hi there. Though I normally take Ativan as an anti-anxiety meds as needed, I am currently taking it as a muscle relaxer for my sprained back. I have to take 1mg up to 4 times a day for the next few days and have been for about a week now. I am wondering if anyone who has taken this has suffered from a loss of appetite, or could it just be my low-mobility as I recover. ... (2 replies)
