Weird Dreams

... Several years ago I began taking Xanax for panic attacks. I worked my way up to 1 mg a day. About 6 weeks ago, the Dr. perscribed Paxil in addition to the Xanax. I have tapered off the Xanax and down to .5 mg. The Paxil is 20 mg but I have only been taking half. Anyway.... ... (3 replies)
... the doses are different, ask a pharmacist how they compare I personally doubt theres much difference at all, between them ,remember there are usually quite noticable side effects when starting any antidepressant the vivid dreams that seem to last all night are common from all modern antidepressants, not just paxil if theres a big cost defference between ordinary and... ... Hi Frank, stromg dreams that seem to last all night are very common from paxil and other antideperssants you are still getting enough sleep, the dreams do no harm so lie back and enjoy them the smallest proper dose is 20mg, this wont make the dreams any stronger (3 replies)

... tic that happened in our childhood. I, like you, had a happy childhood too. I still think for me, it was a combination of medications I was on or not taking that Paxil on the 4th day.
