PCOS and diet
Sep 20, 2005
Ive read a lot recently about PCOS and the GI diet. The GI diet is about keeping blood sugars low and stable and is said to have had very good success when used for PCOS - making peoples periods regular and helping with all the other symptoms.
I have started to eat this way on and off and last month my period was actually 29 days for the first time in many years.

I just wanted to highlight this for people that its an option that you can try and it may help with symptoms. It does take a couple of months for the blood sugars to lower so if you do try it you have to stick to it for a while to see the effects.

Has anyone had success with this - if so I would be interested to hear.

Best wishes
