Hi-First of all, it's nothing to be embarrassed about! I know it's easy to say and I feel that way too some of the time. My regular dr's don't seem to know alot about pcos either. I go to a reproductive endocrinologist who does though, I would recommend you make an appt with one. I am being treated by one for infertility due to pcos, the re's can help you to better sort everything out and what medications you might need. I have excruciating pains before and during my periods and was also diagnosed with endometriosis. Have they suggested you might have that as well as the pcos? As far as tests, I think they can do bloodwork to test for pcos but I was diagnosed by an ultrasound, which was really quick and easy. That gives me alot of hope that you were able to get pregnant, I hope it will happen for me someday. Best of luck to you, please keep posting and let everyone know how you're doing. em
