Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) Board Index

Hi TraceC! I can so relate to your story. I have a amazing 4 year old little boy, but now me and my husband have been trying for #2 for about 10 months now. I was diagnosed about a year ago. I knew even before I got pregnant with my son something to do with my insulin levels was not right. I went to so many doctors and everyone said my glucose levels were fine. Then once I got pregnant I of course got gest diabetes. I started noticing for some reason I had dark facial hair, I honestly thought it was my pregnancy causing it. Other than the gest diabetes I had a healthy pregnancy. However, since I had my son my monthly cycle has been all over the place. I would get a period every month but it was never a normal cycle length. For example one month I would start on cycle day 24 and the next I would start on cycle day 36. It has prob been in the last 4 months that I think what I am experiencing is not a normal cycle. Like only day 1 and day 2 is what I would say a normal period. The next days are brown blood. I have tried diet and exercise and nothing has helped me yet. I cramp in my ovaries during what should be my ovulation time but have not been able to conceive yet. I have tried herbal methods but havent started RX methods yet. I just try and stay positive, I know it is super hard. Everyone around me is pregnant with their 2nd and 3rd babies. I just have to keep telling myself, when it is my time it will happen. I know that is easier said than done. Just try and keep positive. Exercise as much as you can.
